City of Fredericton Artist in Residence: Killarney Lake 2021

In August of 2021 Kim and Anne set out on a 2 week artist residency through the City of Fredericton at the picturesque Killarney Lake Park. Over the course of their residency, the pair created 24 paintings focusing on expanding and evolving their painting practice, specifically exploring oil paint. In September the City of Fredericton hosted the residency exhibition at the Charlotte Street Art Center featuring all 12 artists involved over the summer between Killarney and Botanic Gardens.

Following the residency, two paintings were purchased by the city and can be found inside at the Killarney Lake Lodge.
